At the forefront of responsive
and innovative programming in the rehabilitation field, IAJVS
affiliates across the country provide a wide array of rehabilitation
services, including:
- vocational programming in workshops and supportive or
supported employment opportunities in community settings
for individuals
with mental retardation, mental illness, and/or physical
disabilities;
- vocational rehabilitation services to individuals
with emotional, intellectual and/or physical disabilities;
- vocational and support services to mental health consumers
through job search assistance and on-site job coaching;
and
- residential care, home-health care, attendant care,
and community living for persons with mental retardation,
mental illness,
and/or physical disability.
